"Just go away and mind your own business!" I told them. I could feel my face getting red and could hear my mom's words in my head: Just ignore him, Angelica. Don't let him get to you.
But that was a lot harder than it sounded. And if that didn't work, I knew I could tell my teacher, but I was tired of being a tattletale and decided I'd handle him on my own.
